Sep. 09, 1970 - Man Who Set Fire To Mosque Is Recaptured After Escape: Michael Denis Rohan, 29, the Australian convicted by an Israeli court of setting fire to the El Aksa Mosque, Jerusalem, last year, escaped from a mental institution yesterday. He was recaptured a few hours later in the kibbutz of Mishmar Hasharon, where he had previously lived. Police found him sitting quietly in a classroom where a Jewish girl had taught him Hebrew
