Her co-stars include Billie Whitelaw and Frank Finlay. Produced by Michael Medwin, the film is directed by Stephen Frears from the original screenplay by Liverpool actor-author Neville Smith. Miss Rule plays Mrs Blankersoon a provocatively beautiful, wealthy woman of mystery who tries to lure Alber Finney into intriguing adventures and danger.
