Michele le Bris, French opera singer, with flowers

Aug. 01, 1961 - The young French singer Michele le Bris, 22, if you remember, won the grand prize in 1960 at the conservatory and comic opera, and she sung the role of Marguerite from Faust at the Paris Opera last year. She was the youngest singer in the world to play the role. Next season, she will tour as Marguerite and sing in the big cities of France, Belgium and Switzerland. During her break, she is staying with her parents in Champagne-sur-Seine near Paris. Here is the young singer among the marguerites (daisies)
