Sep. 16, 1968 - Rolling Stone Mick Jagger Starts Shooting His New Film: First confrontation between Mick Jagger (of The Rolling Stones), and James Fox, co-stars of Performance, took place today for the Goodtime Enterprises -Warner Bros - Seen Arts production, at Lowndes Square, London. Although this is Jagger's first day on his first film as a straight dramatic actor, Fox has already been working for several weeks on the contemporary drama. In the film, Fox plays a murderer on the run, a one-time highly regarded member of a criminal protection racket organisation who has alienated himself from his gang and is wanted by the police for a senseless killing. Overhearing a chance conversation sends him to a strange, bizarre house occupied by Jagger, playing a former top entertainer who has forsaken the glitter of the showbiz world to lead a life of seclusion composing ultra-modern forms of music.
