Jun. 06, 1967 - Mick Jagger And Keith Richards Of The Rolling Stones Get Jail Sentences: The 1 million a year career of the Rolling Stones came to a temporary halt at Chichester yesterday, when a jury of 11 men and one woman found Keith Richard, lead guitarist, guilty of permitting his farmhouse, Redlands, at West Wittering, Sussex, to be used for smoking Indian Hemp. Mick Jagger, the lead singer, was found guilty of an offence involving drugs. Richard was sent to prison for one year and Jagger for three months.
