Aug. 08, 1971 - International Children's Film Festival: The first ever International Children's Film Festival to be seen in great Britain, began today at the Mermaid Theatre, London. Forty short and feature films from 15 nations, including the USA, USSR, China, Canada and Great Britain and most of the European countries will be shown during the fortnight-long festival. Each session will be introduced by well-known guest artists.
