May 05, 1953 - US Army in Munich, Bavaria, Germany: US Army outfits assigned to Munich Military Post today celebrate the Army Day. Picked troops marched thru the Bavarian capital to the King's Square (Koenigsplatz). For the first time since the end of the war, the Munich population was given the chance to see eighteen 48-ton-tanks, and the best-fed, best-clothed and best trained soldiers of the world
