Feb. 02, 1953 - A revolving altar has been built in the chapel of the US-Air Force Base Erding near Munich. One side of the altar is for Protestant, other side for Catholic service so that soldiers of both confessions may have their service in the same church. This is the only revolving altar in all Europe
