Jun. 06, 1955 - The Sunken Submarine Surfaces in Portland Harbour.: Submarine Sidon surfaces - a week after she had plunged to the bottom of Portland Harbour following an explosion. After surfacing she was moored alongside the mother ship Maidstone. No attempt will be made to get inside her until she is beached today.
