Aug. 08, 1957 - US-soldiers face trial for rape: Trial before the military-court of the US-airforce started today (August 26th, 1957 at Wiesbaden airbase against four American soldiers who are accused of having raped a German woman on June 30th 1957 near a lake not far from the town of Offenbach. The woman, a Francfort secretary (34) was taking a midnight bath in the nude swimming with some friends. By American law it is possible to pronounce the death-sentence in this case.
