Aug. 08, 1957 - Enthusiastic photo-amateurs of the US Army: have exhibition their pictures on August 24th and 25th 1957 in Berchtesgaden, where they will be awarded a prize by an expert jury. Photo Shows Left to right: 1st Lieutenant W. Gyetan (Frank W. Gyetan) (Co E, 11th, Armd Cav Regt Southern Area Command) who received the 1st prize for his black-and-white photograph Star and Satellites'. Members of the jury were Mr. Jacob Deschin, picture-editor of the New York Times; Director Fritz Gruber of the Photokina and Dr. Otto Croy, Chief-editor of the Photo-Magazine
