Apr. 21, 1959 - 21.4.59 To cross the Atlantic by motor launches Two American Air Force officers will leave Lowestoft on Saturday to cross the Atlantic in small motor launches. Lt. Col. Richard Willsie from Long Beach, California will be in his launch Lightning and a crew of two, and Major Howard Reynolds will be in an ex-Admiralty barge, Saralinda, with a crew of three U.S. servicemen. Both the officers, who are married, have been stationed for the past four years at Bentwaters Air Base, Suffolk.
