Mar. 03, 1959 - Army Personnel undergo Heat Test': Volunteer Army Personnel are now undergoing a series of Heat Test at the Army Research Establishment at Hampstead. The tests include lifting 50 lb tailboards in a room with humidity temp of Dewpoint 84. This is carried out in four hour periods of 30 mins. break which includes recording periods. at the end of each period four men observers examine the volunteers condition of breathing pulse etc. Throughout each test the volunteers wear an IMP mask (Integrating Motor Pneumotachograph) which records breathing oxygen contents etc. Photo Shows: Some of the Volunteers during the heat test in which they rotate around the make believe lorry tailboard wearing IMP mask lifting and lowering the 50 lb ammunition boxes
