Feb. 26 Aircraft which make up Tactical Air Command's composite force pose for an airborne family portrait. The Boeing KB-50 aerial tanker leads the pack, refueling a North American F-100 Super Sabre (right wing), a Douglas B-66 tactical bomber (at tail of tanker) and TAc's newest addition the RF-101 supersonic reconnaissance jet, on the tankers left side. Flanking the formation are Lockheed C-130 Hercules turboprop transport which give personal and supply airlift backup to combat tactical strike forces in forward areas. Tactical Air Command aircraft not shown include sisterships of the Super Sabre, the F-100c air superiority fighter and F-100D fighter bomber, as well as the RB-66, , reconnaissance version of the bomber shown here
