Dec. 14, 1982 - Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida (4/82) - The US. Navy Aviation Officers Candidate School's fourteen week training program produces naval officers with discipline in aviation rather than shipboard fields. Following their commissioning as ensigns in the US Navy, the former AOCs continue their aviation training in a variety of fields including pilot training, naval flight officer, air intelligence and aviation maintenance officer training.
