1955 - Railwaymen In Training - On Toy Trains. The Miniature System at Norwich. Boys of all ages are notorious for their love of miniature trains - whether they be six or sixty, and that also goes for those whose regular job is working on the railways. In a siding at Norwich Station is a coach in which is installed an electric working railway model containing over 100 feet of track, locomotives, carriages, wagons, 38 electric signals and 19 pairs of electric points. This model which was presented by Trix Ltd - the makers of the model, is used for demonstration and often, parties of schoolboys are invited to watch the miniature railway at Norwich.
