Feb. 29 100 years Bavarian army-museum : lined up to a birthday-parade are these tin soldiers four members of magnificent German brigades of past times. the Bavarian army-museum can celebrate in the year 1979 its 100 birthday. it is one of the most important documentation-centers for military history, in it are stored the deeds of magnificent brigades from all parts of Germany from more than 300 years. on the occasion of this jubilee, the Bavarian army-museum intends - for the first time - to appreciate official the most well known of these brigades and surrender a collection of detailed tin sculptures. Every sculpture shows another member of another brigade, started with the 1st saxonia field-artillery-regiment, which dates back to the year 1620. The Bavarian army-museum is situated since ten years in the New castle near Ingolstadt, West-Germany
