Sep. 23, 1952 - The miracle of Saint Gennaro'. Traditional ceremony in Naples: The traditional ceremony of Saint Gennaro was attended by many hundreds of devout Catholics in Naples Cathedral recently during which the small glass phial containing dried blood of the ancient Saint was carried in procession. During the ceremonies the blood is said to miraculously turn once again to liquid. Photo Shows The phial containing the blood is blessed and passed from one to the other during the ceremonies in Naples Cathedral
