Mirko Basaldella, Italian sculptor, in his foundry, Rome
Jul. 15, 1968 - Famous Italian sculptor Mirko Basadella, known simply as Mirko has come back from the States, where he has a professorship of Visual Design at the University of Harvard, Cambridge. Sculptor Mirko was born in Udine on 1910. He creates works in wood, bronze, plastic. One of his works is the gate of the Mausoleum of the Ardeatine, where are entombed 335 victims of nazism in Rome. Photo shows Sculptor Mirko at work in his foundry where he produces his works when he is in Rome
