Miss World Wildlife, Eva Von Rueber Staier, Jungle Club

Sep. 09, 1976 - Fifty children on a Jungle Jaunt'; Miss World Wildlife, in the form of glamorous Miss World, Eva Von Rueber Staier, was the guest of honour at today's Safari Lunch given for 5 children at London's Britannia Hotel. Each of the children was given honorary membership to the Jungles Club, which is to be run by Potty publications, who publish children's books about the Jungles animal characters, and the wildlife fund. The Club's main aim is to encourage child education in Wildlife preservation, VIP guest of the lunch, however, is the first child President of the Jungle Club nominated for her extraordinary good deeds towards animals during the past 12 months. She is 14 year old Debra Guile, of Lewes, Sussex, who has raised considerable money for animal charities in the past three years.
