Model in bikini made from human hair, London
Jan. 25, 1968 - A Bikini of Human hair: Model Geraldine wears what looks like an ordinary tiny bikini. But it's probably the only one of its kind in the world. It's made of human hair. Australian hairdresser, Lillian Frank, of Melbourne, made it as an experiment, and was seen at a special hair styling demonstration in London last night. Geraldine's hairstyle is also the work of Lillian - it's a bathing cap. The curls are real hair, treated with a plasticised lacquer, so they won't come out in the surf
