Models for old style omnibus running in Aldwych, London
Feb. 02, 1967 - 1909 OMNIBUS RUNS AGAIN IN LONDON Unusual sight in London today was that of a 1909 London Road Car Omnibus, on a run from the Aldwych to Berkertex House, Oxford Street, The Omnibus was being run as a prelude to the Berkertex Summer Fashion Race of 1967. It carried models in the new Jockey-Set outfits being featured in the Berkertex Mid-Season Summer Collection which is being shown to the Fashion Press today at Berkertex House. The driver and conductor of the Omnibus which was over an hour late arriving at Aldwych were in Edwardian dress.
