Feb. 02, 1976 - Sahara war flares up: King Hassan claims that Algerian troops ambushed a Morrocan garrison leaving many dead. The continued outbreaks of fighting has made the women and children flee from the fighting zones and gather into refugee camps. Photo shows Mohammed Abdal-La Tammy, ex-Secretaire General adjoint of the Spanish Governor General of the Sahara. He was the man who welcomed King Juan Carlos to the territory last year. He joined the F. Polisario on Dec. 4th and now holds an administrative post. His wife is the camp doctor at Hafid Boudjemaa
