Buddhist Temple in Berlin Wesak celebration on May 9th On a hill in the north of Berlin (Germany), not far from the zonal boundary, medical doctor Paul Dahlke had built a Buddhist temple in the years 1922-1924 for the Buddhist community founded by him. The Buddhist temple is unique in Europe and is subordinated to the Celanese embassy in Bonn. On May 9th, the Wesak ceremony, the most important Buddhist festive day, will be celebrated.
