Mar. 31 Susie flies into London and makes herself at home.: There is always an interesting selection of guests to be found at the Animal Hotel at London Airport. The Hotel is the RSPCA hostel for animals at London Airport where, Mr. F. Salmon, the manager handles all the animals which fly in from all parts of the world, They include birds, monkeys, elephants, mice etc, Some are friendly and others are better kept at arm's length. One of the friendliest was little Susie, a tiny Cynomlogus monkey who arrived from Manila en route to the USA. She spent her time in Mr. Salmon's office amusing herself with the telephone and the typewriter and Mr. Salmon declared she has the making of a very efficient secretary
