Jan. 01, 1974 - The cowboy who roped in a London policeman. Montie Montano, a rodeo star over here to launch a 1974 Visit USA programme, went to Trafalgar Square in London yesterday. A London policeman stepped in to ask if he had a permit to stage a demonstration, but being friendly cowboy Montie lassoed him - at which the policeman indicated that it would be a good idea if he just move on. Photo shows Montie Montano, the friendly cowboy, is given a hand to move on by the policeman
