Mothers of Invention, American band, in London
Feb. 25 The Mothers of Invention at the Festival hall.: The Royal Festival Hall had seen nothing quite like it when it was invaded by that amazing American rock band The Mothers of Invention'. The Mothers, whose new album We're only in it for the money has just been released, have just completed a European tour, which ended with two Festival Hall concerts last week. The strange, way-out group were accompanied onstage by 15 members of the B.B.C. Symphony orchestra. the orchestra members were soberly dressed in comparison with the group - though they did make one concession to oddity - by wearing make up.
