May 05, 1957 - Tragedy in the Milie Miglia Spanish Marquis crashes and fourteen die: The Spanish racing driver wealthy Marquis Alfonso de Portago and his co-driver were killed when they ferrari car crashed into the crowd after a tyre had burst near Bresoia during the Italian Mille Miglia Road Race.
