1958 - Motor racing at Goodwood. Hawthorn wins the 100-miles race: The 100-mile international race for the G lover Trophy was won at Goodwood today by Mike Hawthorn, driving a 2 1/2-litre Ferrari. His speed was 94.96 m.p.h. Photo shows Mike Hawthorn in a Ferrari cuts it fine while taking Coped corner during the race
