Apr. 30, 1956 - The Mille Migla through Italy, British driver goes off the road. Two British deivers crashed during the Mille Miglia 1, 000 read race through Italy yesterday. Mr. John Heath of Walton-on-Thames. Surrey went off the road in his H.W, M and broke a leg and ribs-and Mr. Leslie Brooked of Conventry escaped injury when he went off the road in his Austin-Healy, about 200 miles from the start. The race was won by Italy's Eugenio Castellot at an average of 85 m.p.h. Photo shows Mr. John Heath at a speed in his H.W.M through Peschiers-before going off the road in the Mille Miglis
