Nov. 02, 1959 - Lambretta covers 142 miles in 143 minutes on the new motorway: Brian Gibbs, works rider for Lambretta, took a spare part to the Birmingham and of the new motorway opened todya the M.1 from Luton Spur, where the opening took place and returned after refuelling to the St. Albans and of the M.1.
