Mar. 27 Tragic accident during the 1000 kilometres of Buenos Aires car race. The first car race in the Argentine Capital's Autodromo this year, the 1000 kilometres de Buenos Aires was won by two Porsche cars placing first and second. During the race French racer Beltoise ran out of gas and pushed his car into the next resting box. At the same moment a Ferrari Matra driven by the Italian Giunti hit Beltoise's car in full speed, Giunti was killed and his car completely destroyed. Authorities have accused Beltoise of being guilty and having caused Giunti's death, and want him to be excluded from further car racing. The completely destroyed car of the Italian Ignacio Giunti
