Mar. 02 Tally Ho - But Rather Unconventional Whar!: 31 year-old Michael Hedley of Overacres farm, Monkridge Hall, Northumberland has always in his life tried to be different in what ever he attempted, Now master and huntsman of the Border Fox hounds, he has broken all tradition in hunting and raised a few eye-brows from astonished neighbours who are strict traditionalists by using a 125cc trials motorcycle instead of a horse in fox hunting. Michaels argument is that at times while chasing through the thicket and woodlands close by his farm where the fox retreats to, most of the horses have found difficulty in keeping a firm footing on the un-even terrain. Michael hopes that public opion around his area will turn in favour of him using his bike, but until then Michael will find himself out hunting with his hounds by himself
