May 23, 1960 - 1000km-race on the Nurburgring.: Thousands of racing-enthusiasts came to the Nurburgring in spite of bad weather in order to see the VI. International ADAC 1000-km-race. This race is one of the most splendid events in German motorsports of 1960. Photo shows one of the most prominent drivers of the race was Sitrling Moss (Sitrling Moss), who is at present without a driving licence, leading in his Maserati during one of the first rounds
