Jun. 06, 1960 - Stirling Moss returns from Belgium after crash: Stirling Moss, the world famous racing driver, arrived at Gatwick Airport this evening after flying from Belgium, where, on Saturday he crashed whilst practicing on the Francorchamps circuit for the Belgian Grand Prix. It was stated today that Moss has a broken vertebra and will have to wear a plaster cast for three months.
