Jul. 07, 1960 - Campbell's Bluebird on show: Donald Campbell's new Bluebird car, with which he will make an attempt on the World Land Speed Record on the Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, in September this year, was on display today at the Goodwood motor circuit today. The car, which is powered by a Proteus gas turbine engine, is expected to undergo preliminary low speed trial runs later this week. The present speed record stands at 394 m.p.h set up by John Cobb.
