Jun. 06, 1966 - Britain's racing driver Jackie Stewart is injured in bug race pile-up.: Britain's Jackie Stewart was dragged injured from his wrecked car after a pile-up in the first lap of the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa yesterday. Stewart, who was leading in the world championship, was rescued by BRM team-mate Graham Hill, helped by another driver. Bob Bondurat. He was taken to hospital with a fractured collarbone and bruises and is expected to be out of racing for three weeks. Last night he was flown to London and admitted to St. Thomas's Hospital.
