Aug. 08, 1963 - Campbell Returns Home: Speed ace Donald Campbell and his wife Tonia arrived at London Airport this morning from Australia where his attempt on the World Land Speed Record had to be abandoned owing to unfavorable conditions. He has issued a writ against Sir Alfred Owen, one of the leading backers of his car Bluebird for80, 000 alleging defamation of character after Sir Alfred said that the failure of the attempt was Campbell's fault.
