Mar. 21, 1968 - Ford to Race 200 M.P.H Sports Car: Photo shows The 200 m.p.h sports prototype announced by Ford of Britain. It is only 35.3ins. high and the wheel base of 87ins is ten inches shorter than current Formula 1 cars. It will make its first public appearance in the BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch on April 7th. The car will take part in five or six races, all in Europe, and 1968 will be regarded as a development season. Ford Research and Engineering Center at Dunton, Essex and Castrol Oil Technicians have played a vital role in its development
