Jun. 06, 1970 - The Rac Junior Grand Prix At Crystal Palace: Britain's young aspiring drivers took part today in the RAC Junior Grand Prix at Crystal Palace. The competitors. boys and girls aged 6 and under were at the controls of pedal-powered mini-racing cars as they made a 75-yard dash down a section of the motor racing circuit normally used by the more experienced racing drivers. The winner's prize was the car he drove to victory. Photo shows Michael Stoner, age 5, of Kidlington Oxon, raises his arms in triumph as the crosses the finishing line to win the Junior Grand Prix today
