Jun. 06, 1970 - The Rac Junior Grand Prix at Crystal Palace: Britain's young aspiring drives took part today in the Rac Junior Grand Prix at Crystal Palace. the competitor, boys and girls aged 6 and under were at the controls, of Pedal powered mini racing cars as they made a 75 yard dash down a section of the motor racing circuit normally used by the more experienced racing driver. the winner's prize was the car he drove to victory. Photo Shows Michael Stomer, age 5, of Kidlington, Oxon, takes a welcome drink of Iemonade from a giant silver cup after he had won the Junior Grand Prix today
