Aug. 08, 1970 - Faster-than-fangio girl takes on formula 3 stars at brands hatch today.: Hannelore Werner, the brilliant German girl who staggered the motor racing world by finishing second in an F2 race at Nurburgring on Aug 2nd - the day Grand Prix drivers refused to go there because they did not consider the circuit safe enough was at Brands Hatch today competing against the world's top Formula 3 drivers for the biggest Formula 3 race of the season - the Guards International Trophy Race.
