Mar. 03, 1971 - The Carmen Curis The First All Girls Motor Racing Team: The house of Carmen, leaders is Beauty and Personal Care products are sponsoring a two-car racing team from Motor Racing Stables. Carmen, founded and directed by attractive, Petite Jackie Pressman are taking the woman's touch to a man's sport with a team of seven girls. Number one driver is blonde Gabriele Kosig, undoubtedly the best woman drive in Britain - She has 9 lap records and over 30 wins in her last two seasons. The number two spot is currently filled by pretty Micki Vandervell from the well known racing family - and the team is exertly managed by Tina Lanfranchi, wife of the famous Tony. And there is a glamorous pit-crew of four girls for time-keeping, pit-signalling, etc. All the girls are wearing a fashionable Carmen red ensemble. and all seven will wear the latest fashion wig of the most from Carmen, as well as taking part in various promotions throughout the season. The racing care are Royale Formula F100's running on Festone tyres. The cars are owned and maintained with expert care by Motor Racing Stables, whose racing driving training facilities will be used for testing and practicing throughout the season. The Carmen Curls Girls are all set for a win in the Tarmac F.100 Championship and a glamorous break through into motorsport Their first competitive outing is the F.100 event on Sunday in the Rothmans European Championship Car Races held at Mallory park, Leicestershire.
