Aug. 08, 1973 - Motor racing at Brands Hatch. Radio Luxembourg day. The Radio Luxembourg Day motor racing meeting was held yesterday at Brands Hatch. Racing was organised by the Sutton and Cheam Motor Club. Photo Shows David Purley the racing driver who made a desperate attempt to rescue Roger Williamson from a blazing car during the Dutch Grand Prix last month, waves to the crowd after he had been presented with a silver cigarette box for heroism, by Mr. Anthony Salmon, secretary of the British Racing Drivers Club
