Sep. 13, 1976 - Niki Lauda's brave return to motor racing when he competed in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza: Acclaimed by the crowd as a real hero, a determined Niki Lauda made a brave return to motor racing when he competed in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza yesterday, after his crash six weeks ago at Nurburgring when he was badly burned, receiving dreadful facial injuries.
