Dec. 06, 1976 - James Hunt and Gerry Marshall are still good friends: World Champion racing driver, James Hunt was involved in an incident with saloon car racing driver Gerry Marshall on Friday last at the British racing Driver's Club ball at London's Dorchester Hotel The incident arose when Gerry Marshall went to introduce a friend to James Hunt on the next table. As Gerry turned round to James the glass of gin and tonic that Gerry was holding was tipped into his face, the glass cutting his forehead. James Hunt has apologized to Gerry Marshall who was ready to forgive and forget. Tonight both men met again when James Hunt was presenting the Grovewood Motor Racing Awards at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London.
