Nov. 11, 1976 - 10, 000 Fans Hail James Hunt - Britain's New World Motor Racing Champion at Brands Hatch: James Hunt, Britain's new world motor racing champion, was besieged by young autograph hunters yesterday when 10, 000 fans turned up at Brands Hatch, the circuit where he started his career, to say thank you to his supporters. Niki Lauda was also present to pay tribute to James who took the title from him in Japan.
