May 05, 1978 - The New British Designed New Racing Car March 721X to Make Its Debut at Brands Hatch. At a press conference held in the Ford showrooms in Regent's Street last night the revolutionary new March 721X racing car was unveiled. It is due to make its debut in the Race of Champions when it will be driven by Ronnie Peterson, the Swedish driver, at Brands Hatch on March 19th. The New March 721X features a number of revolutionary ideas, including a safety cockpit.
