Sep. 09, 1978 - Track whizz - Kid Fanzio drives again : Juan Manuel Fanzio, a living legend of the motor racing circuit, raced again at the age of 67. This time the event was a special Veteran race meeting in Melbourne Australia. Fanzio was driving his favourite 23 year-old Silver-Arrow Mercedes bend and as his co-driver he had Australian prime minister Malcolm Frazer, who took time off from political and farm duties to make this great moment in sport. Although they both had a good drive, they failed to beat jack Brabham in his 12 year old Rap co-Brabham.
