Jul. 07, 1979 - New Skoda MTX 1-05 Racing Car made at Metalex in Plzen, western Bohemia, is the fifth type of Czechoslovak racing car made in small series. compared with the previous MTX 1-01, the new car has a different frame and a differently designed mounting of the rear axle, it has better brakes and also a different body. The car has better stability when taking curves and when driving in general and is designed for stronger resistance to side winds.
